California Suite

The Theater League of Clifton is proud to present its spring production of “California Suite” by the award-winning Neil Simon. This annual spring show will be held at a new venue, the Theresa Aprea Theater in the TLC Community Center in Clifton.

California Suite follows the hilarious misadventures of four groups of guests at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Visitors from New York, Philadelphia, London and Chicago take the audience on a wild ride through their very unique, and very human, personal dramas. The New York Times called California Suite “Neil Simon at his best.” Hotel rooms would have colorful stories to tell if walls could talk – now you can get a glimpse inside. Leave the kids at home and treat yourself to an evening of comedy praised by the NY Times!

Kathleen Kellaigh is director; Mark Peterson and Barbara Novak are co-producers; Tara Freifeld is stage manager; costumes are by Maryann Irizarry; and set design is by Ken Kida and Julie Chrobak.

The cast hails from the greater Bergen, Essex and Passaic county communities and includes: Dave Arts of Wyckoff, Peggy Cioce of Little Falls, Luis Encarnacion of Passaic, Beth Margey of Rutherford, Susan McDonald of Clifton, Danielle Petrucelli of West Orange, Jack Pignatello of Bloomfield, Chris Robertson of Clifton, Geoff Waumans of Clifton, and Irene Yalicki of Wayne.
